The Darkest Hour
Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions.
And in return, if a teacher could ask for something, would be a right to serve their own family the same way they serve the society, relentlessly. What is to be done when they themselves are threatened to be separated from their own family to serve the society. What choice do we leave them with, in such a case?
Every fraction of the society is based on some rules, some regulations that govern the system to run smoothly as whole. However, when the government itself, blatantly and shamelessly, breaks and bends all the rules that safeguards the jobs, the mental peace, and the promises that it was responsible for the same teachers, what should these teachers do?This is what happened with the recent notices:
F.No. 11-E-11019/34/2022-Estt-11/2431 dated 12/09/2022,
F.No. 11-E-11019/34/2022-Estt-11/2432-4095 dated 13/09/2022,
when Government of India, @PMOIndia, @narendramodi, @EduMinOfIndia, @AmritMahotsav, decided to transfer hundreds of teachers from Kendriya Vidyalaya without even giving a single thought what this decision would do to their family. No respite was given to teachers in, supposed to be, safe categories like spouse case (when both of them are in same school, or in different schools in same city, or in government jobs in same city), or a yet grieving widow recovering from loss, or a single parent managing their school and kids, or teachers with kids appearing for board exams. Such a cruelty and such a shameful behaviour by government notifying the teachers of their forced transfers during the late hours, when they were feeling safe in their homes, with their families, and then relieving them of their duties from their base location the very next afternoon, without even giving them any chance to fight for their case, for their right. What a disgrace on such government! What choice did the government leave them with, the so called pillars of the society?
